K&N's replacement air filters are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. We make over 1,200 different replacement air filters for virtually every vehicle on the road. These filters are washable and reusable and are custom designed to fit into your existing factory air box. Their drop-in design means adding performance is simple. With most vehicles you simply remove the disposable air filter and replace it with a K&N. See applicable instruction sheet for details. OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COULD RESULT.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the OE airbox lid according to the service manual.
2. Remove the OE air filter by holding the airbox lid and turning the air filter counter clockwise. (Fig.1)
3. Install the K&N® air filter by lining up the tabs on the bottom of the filter into the open slots of the airbox lid. (Fig.2)
4. Tighten the K&N® air filter by holding the airbox lid and turning the air filter clockwise until it stops. (Fig.3)
5. Install the airbox lid according to the service manual.
Removal for Air filter Service:
1. Remove the OE airbox lid according to the service manual.
2. Holding the airbox lid, turn the K&N® air filter counterclockwise.
